OFC: Four Tied Again

The four way log jam at the top of the OFC standings has returned

Saturday afternoon the Hamilton Hurricanes rolled over the visiting Ottawa Sooners 40-17 at Ivor Wynne Stadium.

Later the Burlington Braves edged the St Leonard Cougars 31-24 at Corpus Christi High School.

Earlier at noon in Windsor the AKO Fratmen defeated the London Beefeaters 23-1 at Alumni Field on the campus of the University of Windsor.

With 4-2 records the Hurricanes, Braves, Cougars and Sooners all have two games remaining.

The Beefeaters and AKO Fratmen are now tied with four points but Windsor has a game in hand.

Next Saturday Hamilton travels to St Leonard for a 7:00 pm kick off at Central Field. As the OFC plays all games to a win the Hurricanes and Cougars will no longer be tied.

The Sooners host the London Beefeaters at Keith Harris Stadium on the Carleton University campus at 7:00 pm.

Looking for their first win the Brampton Bears will take on the Windsor AKO Fratmen at 7:30 pm.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
