The Thunderstorm that rolled through the Forest City the morning of the Thunderbirds home opener was only the prequel of the thunder that rolled during the ball game against Chatham Cougars. A tight game through 3 quarters, that left everyone biting their nails, with minutes left the game could go either way. An interception with seconds on clock clinched the home opener win with a final score of 13-11.
