Jamaican born running back joins AUS Conference Champions

Chris Reid will be making New Brunswick his new home.

This past week, the 5’6, 180 pound running back signed with AUS Conference Champions, Mount Allison Mounties.Β  He will join the team for the 2014 AUS season.

β€œThe factors that impacted my decision was that I liked there family atmosphere & coaching staff,” explained Reid of his commitment.

Reid was born in Portmore, Jamaica; however, moved to Canada when he was in grade six.Β  The running back started his gridiron journey in the ninth grade.

Among the teams Reid has suited up for include Georgetown Crimson, Oakville Titans of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC) and the Brampton Bulldogs of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).Β  Recently, the running back completed his high school career with St Edmund Campion Bears of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA).
