NCAA Signing day: CFC100 Bourassa taking his talents across the border to Buffalo

CFC100 2017 Julien Bourassa

The Montreal native will be taking his talents, officially, across the border to Buffalo.

The 6’3, 235lbs, Bourassa, played for the Spartiates de Vieux-Montreal and had, as a quarterback, 23 completions out of 54 attempts and threw 2 touchdown passes with 3 interceptions. As a receiver, he caught 15 balls for 164 yards with 1 touchdown reception. He also had 149 yards rushing to go along with 2 rushing touchdowns (RSEQ).

As reported in Le Journal de Quebec, he plans on taking Business and is happy that the journey to and from Montreal as Buffalo is not that far for his family to travel and vice versa.

He goes on to say that the Bulls were the school that recruited him the most heavily and they are also in the FBS as opposed to Maine and Eastern Kentucky who are a part of the FCS. Being a part of the bowl series is an exciting prospect for any athlete.

He did receive two other NCAA offers, as well as went on a visit to McGill and Laval University before making a decision.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
