Once Brad Blizzard, a receiver from Hampton High School, got a taste of the Mount Allison Mounties, he knew it was the school for him.
āI chose Mount Allison because of the environment on and off the football field. At Mount A, I am confident that I will be expected to work as hard as I can and reach my full potential as an athlete and a student,ā he said.
āThe universityās coaching staff has made a great impression on me,ā he added. āI believe that we share a similar mindset about the game of football and understand the value of hard work and commitment.ā
Blizzard is interested in shaping young minds himself. He would like to become a teacher someday and is looking into the schoolās history and political science programs.
Blizzard spent two years with the Hampton High School Huskies (New Brunswick High School Football League) in his hometown of Hampton, New Brunswick. Standing at 6ā2, 195lbs, he was the 2016 defensive lineman of the year and is a two-time league all-star.
