Overall, the Mounties had everything the lineman was looking for on and off the field for a future CIS home.

“I committed to Mount Allison because I liked the small school and the cities atmosphere and also I really liked the small class sizes because that would provide me with lots of research oppurtunities which will help me getting into medical school,” explained Diab of his decision.  “It is also the best school in the country in my opinion and even if i didnt play football, I would want to go there for my education. Its just all around a great school.”

“I also really liked how i instantly connected with the coaching staff and especially how I wanted to play the same aggressive type of football that Head Coach Scott Brady has in plans for the team. Also i have to give credit to Chris Postill who’s an offensive lineman on the team; he was the player I got matched with on my visit and he just made me feel really comfortable and showed me that this team is just one big family. So overall, I wanted to get the best education possible in Canada, and I wanted to play and compete for Vanier Cups every year and I felt that Mount Allison provided me with that.”
