The NCAA.

Those four letters alone hold more weight in the minds of high school athletes than the curriculum theyā€™re taught on a daily basis, and to be honest, I canā€™t blame them. Thereā€™s a lot of prestige that goes along with attending a major NCAA program, and the promise of more exposure is an enticing one for any kid with his eyes set on the NFL.

This article is not to deter players from attending NCAA schools, because the chance to experience a football lifestyle most in Canada couldnā€™t dream of is an amazing opportunity, but I do caution that those promises of extra exposure and a fast track to the NFL can be very empty at times.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
