Mind of McCabe: The scenic route to the NCAA isn’t for everybody, but it’s possible if you’re willing to chase it

CFC100 Katley Joseph (CFC50 St. Matthew)

When you grow up as a kid and are trying to sort out what path you’d like to take in life, you generally pick an occupation, maybe ask a parent or google how to get there, then try and follow the same trail that the majority have blazed before you.

This is standard and probably the safest bet if you want the best odds of achieving your dreams, but it’s never the only path available, and sometimes you may have to hack down a few trees in order to get to where you want to go.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
