It was at this moment as a young football player I realized Deion Sanders was the coolest man to ever walk the face of the planet. For whatever reason, that quote has always stuck with me because of how ridiculous of a statement it is, and because Deion said it with so much swagger there’s no way he didn’t believe every word.
It also stuck with me because it made me realize how much looks really mean to people. Yea, I know. They teach you differently in school, but how come I spend an hour getting ready whenever I’m going out to a party, while on a normal day at home I won’t even look in the mirror?
