Late last year, ESPN reported that from 2010-2012 Pop Warner – America’s largest youth football program – saw enrollment fall 9.5 per cent.

The piece titled, Youth football participation drops, was part of ESPN’s investigative series, Outside The Lines. The report cited numerous reasons for the decline, but the main factor was concern about head injuries.

Here in Canada, are we seeing this decline?
