“Mac for one was the first team that recruited me and took an interest in me; the compliments from former Head Coach [Stefan] Ptaszek and constant interest in me from multiple coaching staff from Mac as well,” explained Oshust. Ā “Hamilton is also close to home being from St.Catharines and it felt like home when I stepped on campus.”

“The overnight visit there was a blast, and I stayed with great group of guys who were respectful as well as had lots in common. Being a receiver, it was very intriguing for me that the quarterback at Mac [Asher Hastings] is coming back for his fifth year and last year broke the record for most throwing touchdowns in a season. Also, they have been to the Vanier Cup three times in the last six or so years. Of course McMaster is a prestigious school for academics.”
