McMaster “felt like home” to Ontario recruit

Ben Cross has found his future CIS home.

Recently, the 5ā€™11, 170 pound defensive back (cornerback) from Morriston, Ontario committed to the McMaster Marauders.Ā  Cross will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

Ultimately, Crossā€™ decision was based on his comfort level as well as the strengths of both the academic and gridiron programs.

ā€œI committed to McMaster because they have a great business program and it really felt like home to me,ā€ elaborated the defensive back.Ā  ā€œThe football program obviously has been very successful in recent years so that was also a deciding factor and the coaches seem very genuine.ā€
