Zacharie Magnan

When Zacharie Magnan visited McGill, he left with a good feeling about the school.

“Just seemed like the right fit for me,” Magnan says. “I loved the school and football facilities. The attitude that I saw from the people there convinced me to commit.”

The 5’10, 198lbs, running back from Shawinigan adds that the coaching staff is super motivated. “I saw a lot of competent and super nice people.”

The potential urban studies student has been playing football for eight years with Les Cactus du SSM (RSEQ) and Le Notre-Dame du CNDF (RSEQ Division 1).

Charles Cossette

When Charles Cossette joins McGill, he won’t be the first member of his family to do so. “My brother, Simon Cossette, played two years at McGill,” he explains. “He is my biggest role model.”

Hailing from Trois-Rivières, Québec, Cossette says he chose McGill because of the academics, the coaches, and the fact it was a good fit. He is interested in taking commerce.

Cossette added that he thinks the coaches are great. “I fell in love with the way they handle themselves,” he says.

Standing at 6’2, 200lbs, he spent three seasons with Les Diablos du Cégep de Trois-Rivières (RSEQ Division 3) and five playing at Séminaire St-Joseph, where he won an academic award in 2018.
