Manitoba announces three more recruits for 2020

The Manitoba Bisons introduced their new recruits on Saturday during halftime at home versus Regina.

Owen Steele (6’5, 237 lbs) ā€” Defensive End from Superior Collegiate (Thunder Bay, ON)

The menacing 6’5 and 237-pound out-of-province recruit is a force to be reckoned with on the defensive line. Steele excels at defensive end and plans to study Environmental Science at the University. He brings big value to a team and adds to an already strong 2020 class.

Tyrece Viner-Cox (6’4, 245 lbs) ā€” Linebacker from Garden City Collegiate (Winnipeg, MB)

Viner-Cox is a former CFC100 standout that has the potential to play on either side of the ball. His large frame and long reach are ideal for locating ball carriers. The ex-receiver can secure passes at their highest point, decreasing the chances of the opposition making a play.

Jayden Martens 6’5, 181 lbs) ā€” Receiver from Steinbach Regional Secondary School (Steinbach, MB)

The product out of Steinbach Secondary School is joining teammate and fellow 2020 recruit CFC100 Isaac Dokken with the Bisons. Martens has big-play potential and has the size to back it up. He has an opportunity to become a fixture in the Bisons offence in the future.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
