Local recruit opts to stay home, picks Dinos (VIDEO)

The chance to play on the local CIS stage was too good of an offer for Brendon Doubell to pass up.

As a result, the 6’0, 205 pound linebacker has opted to join the Calgary Dinos. Doubell will be part of the Dinos for the 2016 CWUAA season.

I wanted to stay in Calgary because I wanted to stay at home,” explained the defensive standout of his decision.  “I’ve always had a dream to play for the Dinos ever since we moved to Canada and knowing that my parents will be at my home games was also a big reason know that they will get to see me play in my hometown of Calgary is awesome!”

During his time with the Bulldogs, he helped the team win the league championship.
