Local commit brings talents to York Lions

York adds a GTA commit to their team.

Josh Menna, a receiver from King City Secondary School, will be staying close to home when he joins the York Lions.

“I love the coaching staff at York, got coached by a few of them before in the OVFL and they’re great coaches and they know me well,” Menna said. He played for the York Simcoe Bucs (the former name of the York Region Lions) during his OVFL stint.

Menna currently resides in Nobleton, Ontario, a small township northwest of Toronto near Vaughn. He spent his high school career with the King City Lions (York Region Athletics Association). In 2015, he was the Lion’s team and offensive MVP. He is a two-time YRAA all-star. He has played as a receiver and cornerback and stands at 6ā€™3, 195lbs.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
