Lions Peewee undefeated

The Bantam Lions were in tough this week against the Mississasuga Warriors.
The Warriors handed the Lions there 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] loss of the season with a 41-6 victory.

Despite the loss the Lions have a firm hold of 4[SUP]th[/SUP] place with a 5-3 record and are positioned to host a 1[SUP]st[/SUP] round playoff game.
The Lions next and final regular season game is in Ajax this Saturday at 4pm against the 4-4 Dolphins.

The Cambridge peewee Lions improved their record to 7-0 Sunday, defeating the Etobicoke Eagles 42-6.
George Monoghan started the game for the Lions with a TD run in the first.
Amber Baetsen finished the quarter with a kick off recovery. Baetsen had another big day. In the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] quarter she had an interception, and caught a Brayden Hill pass for a touchdown.
Playing in the rain and thunder, the Lions dominated the second quarter with touchdowns by Brayden Ralph and Kaden Jespersen. Hill also connected with Brandon Metz for a second quarter touchdown.
Emotions ran over in the third when the Eagles coach was ejected from the game for challenging the referee.
The Lions defense took it home from there, with Danyel Sipes having a fumble recovery, Alex Ridley getting a kick off recovery and Ryley Dunn coming up with a fourth quarter sack.
