Lingerie Football comes to Canada: Good or bad for sport? Women? (video)

Like it or not the Lingerie Football league is coming to Canada. The league announced that it will be expanding with teams in Toronto and Winnipeg with more potentially coming. Lingerie Football was first played during the NFLā€™s Super Bowl halftime show in 2004.

Teams of gorgeous but athletic women play seven-on-seven, U.S.-style football in an arena. The players wear helmets and some skimpy shoulder pads, but very little else, so their best assets are unprotected.

Lingerie Football League-style exhibition game between Canadian teams has been scheduled for July 22 at the Golf Dome Center in Winnipeg. That game will kick off a country-wide tour, culminating in a special at halftime of the CFLā€™s Grey Cup.

So we ask you. Good, bad, or indifferent?

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
