Laurier was #CFC100 recruit’s destiny (VIDEO)

#CFC100 & London pivot joins OUA team’s 2016 class.

One CIS school was meant to be for #CFC100 Tristan Arndt.

Recently, the 6’2, 190 pound quarterback from London, Ontario committed to Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks.  Arndt will join the team for the 2016 OUA season.

Upon his decision, the pivot said that he was destined to go to the Waterloo, Ontario school for quite some time.

“Laurier was really just a perfect fit for me and I think I’ve always known that it would end up being the school for me,” commented the #CFC100 offensive standout. “Academically, it fit perfectly with Laurier’s great kinesiology program and I know and have played with several of the guys on the team from high school and OVFL ball in London so that was definitely a positive factor for me in my decision,”

“I loved the atmosphere of the team and felt a great connection with Coach [Michael] Faulds and the rest of the staff.”

Currently, Arndt is completing his final year with AB Lucas Vikings of the Thames Valley Regional Athletic Association (TVRAA). In 2014, the quarterback led the Vikings to the TVRAA, Western Ontario Secondary School Athletic Association (WOSSAA) Championship as well as OFSAA Bowl victory in late November.

Additionally, Arndt suited up for the London Jr. Mustangs of the Ontario Varsity Football League.  Twice this year, he has been included in the #CFC100 CLASS 2016 RANKINGS.
