Laurier Football adds seven more to the fold


WATERLOO, Ont. – Wilfrid Laurier University is proud to announce the newest crop of Laurier Football players.

Jessy DePetrillo – DT – 6-4 260 – Sir James Dunn (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.)
Jessy was the 2009 Most Valuable Lineman and League a All-Star at D-Line in 2008. He is a versatile player who can play tackle or end.

Max Sullivan – OL – 6-5 265 – Sir James Dunn (Sault Ste. Marie)
A standout right tackle, Max is one of the best in the province this year. He is a very quick and aggressive player.

Jeremy Deneau – OL – 6-5 260 – General Amherstburg H.S. (Amherstburg, Ont.)
The Bulldogs built their running game around this dominant tough athletic specimen last season.He was also a Newman All-Star

Kee Joon Chung – K/ P – 5-10 170 – Richview H.S. (Toronto)
KJ has been very consistant missing only three attempted FGs in last two years with long of 54. He is a GTA All Star.

Tyler Rivett – LB – 5-11 185 – Jacob Hespler (Cambridge, Ont.)
Tyler has great speed and is one of the best linebackers in the Tri-City area. He will compete at Will or Sam linebacker.

Paolo Lach Edwards – DB – 5-9 175 – Cathedral H.S. (Hamilton, Ont.)
An athlete with great vertical, speed and cover ability. Paolo always keeps his eye on the ball.

Austin Giuntoli – REC – 6-0 180 – Donald A Wilson S.S. (Whitby, Ont.)
Austin is a GTA All-Star who was his teams MVP. He has excellent speed and very reliable hands. Austin is a go to receiver with great consistency.
