U SPORTS OFFERS

Zack Burmaster (6’3, 210 lbs) — Receiver from St. Thomas More High School (Hamilton, ON)

The Golden Hawks attract a Fox 40 Prospect participant in Burmaster, who projects to be an impactful receiver at the U Sports level. The six-foot-three, 210-pound weapon has the skill to make plays in a multitude of ways on offence. His speed and ball skills are high-end.

Jared Weiler (6’1, 185 lbs) — Defensive Back from Resurrection High School (Kitchener, ON)

Weiler will provide Laurier with ample depth in the defensive secondary and has a high talent ceiling. The product out of Kitchener, Ont., is a promising addition and is a step in the right direction for the Golden Hawks defence.

Josh Rietveld (6’5, 275) — Offensive Lineman from Assumption College School (Brantford, ON)

The offensive lineman is a hulking force at six-foot-five and 235 pounds. Rietveld will be a force in the trenches for Laurier, creating time for quarterbacks and space for ball carriers.
