Langdon defensive lineman joins CWUAA team’s 2015 class

Seth Dickin will be staying in his home province to continue both his academic pursuits and gridiron career.

Recently, the 6’5, 210 defensive lineman from Langdon, Alberta signed with the Calgary Dinos.  Dickin will join the team for the 2015 CWUAA season.

“I joined the Dinos because I like the idea of being close to home as well as their program being very successful and the great coaching staff,” explained the defensive lineman.  “I have attended many camps with the Dinos and have gotten to know the players and coaches. University of Calgary academically will give me what I need for the future.”

Dickin has previously played for the Chestermere Chiefs of the Alberta Schools Athletic Association (ASAA).  During his time there, he has been named Defensive Player of the Year for two consecutive seasons as well as selected as a Rocky View Conference All-Star twice.

In addition to the Chiefs, Dickin guided the Airdrie Raiders of the Calgary Area Midget Football Association (CAMFA) to a Division 1 Championship appearance.
