Justin James is ready to make noise with Waterloo Warriors

Waterloo adds a late out-of-province commit to their Class of 2017.

Justin James, defensive tackle from Kelvin High School, is looking to make a good impression in his first year with his new team, the Waterloo Warriors.

Trekking in from his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba, is no easy task, but James is confident in his choice. “(Waterloo) is one of the top universities in Canada and I believe I’ll be able to get playing time right away,” he said. He will be taking recreation and leisure in university.

Standing at 6’1, 265lbs, the tackle has been playing the sport for nine years. While he has yet to speak at length with the Warriors’ coaching staff, he said “they seem very determined to have a great season.”

In his career, James has played for the Valour Patriots, Team Manitoba U16 and the Kelvin Clippers (Winnipeg High School Football League).

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
