Invaders outplayed in Ottawa

The 2-4-1 Ottawa Invaders fell by a final score of 18-3 as they played host to the Tri-City Outlaws Saturday night at Keith Harris Stadium.

The Invaders were their own worst enemy as the team complied 115 yards in penalties and turned the ball over five times with three interceptions and two fumbles.

“We need to play smart, high intensity football from the opening kickoff if we expect to give ourselves a chance to win” said head coach Ken Evraire after the game.

The Invaders will play their final regular season game on Saturday, July 24 as they travel to Toronto to do battle with the Raiders.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
