Huron Heights Heath Weir to present on the “Pistol Option offense” at the FCCA convention (April 2 & 3)


The newly formed Football Canada Coaches Association (FCCA) is pleased to announce current Huron Heights high school (Newmarket, ON) coach Heath Weir as a speaker at the 2011 FCCA CONVENTION being held April 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] and 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] in Burlington, Ontario at Corpus Christi High School.

Heath played offensive & defensive lines in the CIS for Acadia University. Since arriving at Huron Heights in 2004 the Warriors have posted an outstanding record of 63-8-2. Offensively the Warriors have led the Province in scoring 4 out of the past 7 years (377 teams), averaging nearly 40 PPG. After the 2005 season the Warriors transitioned from a Georgia Tech style Triple Option attack to Nevada’s Pistol Spread Option. Heath is also the editor of “Weirs Magazine”.
