Gee-Gees welcomes a southern Ontario commit to their 2019 class.
Brenden Day, a wide receiver from Nelson High School, will be packing his bags and heading to the nationās capital after signing with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees.
Day, who is from Burlington, Ontario, has played with both the Nelson Lords (HSSAA) and the Burlington Stampeders (OFC). Entering the 2017 season, Jeff Brock, the Lordsā head coach, told CanadaFootballChat.com that Day āhas the potential to be a blue-chip U Sports recruit.ā He was also considered the teamās āXā factor. The 6ā4, 175lbs athlete has also played as a slotback and long snapper.
