Gee-Gees add size to REC core with commit

Gee-Gees welcomes a southern Ontario commit to their 2019 class.

Brenden Day, a wide receiver from Nelson High School, will be packing his bags and heading to the nationā€™s capital after signing with the University of Ottawa Gee-Gees.

Day, who is from Burlington, Ontario, has played with both the Nelson Lords (HSSAA) and the Burlington Stampeders (OFC). Entering the 2017 season, Jeff Brock, the Lordsā€™ head coach, told CanadaFootballChat.com that Day ā€œhas the potential to be a blue-chip U Sports recruit.ā€ He was also considered the teamā€™s ā€œXā€ factor. The 6ā€™4, 175lbs athlete has also played as a slotback and long snapper.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
