Gardner & Medeiros join Team Canada: Faulds, Walter, Adams & others look impressive


Jedd Gardner, receiver from the University of Guelph and Offensive lineman Jason Medeiros from McMaster University are to join Team Canada’s camp today – DAY 4! The team has one more roster spot to fill which they will use for either a quarterback or defensive end. The talent on the team is outstanding and the camaraderie should bode well for the Austrian experience. Many players have looked outstanding at times and here are some hilites from Day 2 and 3 of camp:

[*]Josh Symons, defensive tackle from Calgary, has impressed the coaches with his great use of hands to fend off would be blockers

[*]Anthony Maggiacomo, after the trip from Sault Ste. Marie (where he was coaching), has looked outstanding since joining the squad

[*]The seven coaches (Haylor, Marshall, Towriss, Sumarah, Nill, Tracey, and Cummins) have done a tremendous job coaching this talented group – as well as a handful of guest coaches for camp
