Dhandre Weekes has been playing football for 11 years.
āFootball has been a roller coaster for me these past couple of years however I am always up for the challenge because that is how you become a better player,ā said Dhandre.
During his career, he has played for A Ma Baie, North Shore Elite and Selwyn House. Currently, he plays with the Champlain College-Lennoxville (RSEQ Division 1).
The wide receiver is also is participating in this yearās Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, and his goals are to showcase his abilities to everyone who doesnāt know who I am and get his name on every coaches radar.
The 2018 graduate, would like to find his name on the CFC100 list, as it would make him feel like his hard work has paid off if he were to be ranked in the top five or 10.
During the offseason, he trains with his team and we become faster, stronger, more agile and smarter at the game.
On the field, his role model is DeāAnthony Thomas, former Oregon Duck, and current Kansas City Chiefs.
āI idolize him because we have similar strengths in our games,ā commented the Cougar, āwe both have speed, agility, quickness and a natural play making ability.ā
Dhandre grew up in a football family and his dad was a coach, so he developed a natural passion and love for the game.
