Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): Lineman Lowery loves the contact

It takes a certain mentality to be in the trenches. Offensive guard and defensive tackle, Joshua Lowery, has this mentality. “I love the contact,” he says.

This two time Offensive Lineman of the Year and one time team Lineman of the Year has been playing for eight years now. He has played for Les Patriotes de l’Ouest, the Cloverdale Community Football Association, and now for the Lord Tweedsmuir Panthers in BC.

In order to get ready for the upcoming season, Lowery attends Game Ready Fitness and plays other sports such as rugby and flag football. This will also help with the CFCFPC tryouts and selection camps.

Excellent, love the game the friends I have made,” says Lowery when describing his football experience. He goes on to say that J.R. LaRose of the BC Lions is his favourite coach and is a “great inspiration” to him.
