Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (Central): LB/DE Hart always bettering himself as a player

Braden Hart started playing football three years ago when he was 14 with the Loyalist Mavericks in the Thousand Islands Minor Football League (TIMFL).

That fall, the linebacker and defensive end then played in the Kingston Area Secondary Schools Athletic Association (KASSAA) for the Napanee District Secondary School Golden Hawks.

The following summer brought Braden to the Kingston Grenadiers in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

In December he got invited to a defensive lineman camp ran by Canada Football Institute and tried out for the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge.

“Throughout that time period I tried to learn as many things as I could learn to make my self a better athlete and football player and will proceed to do the same in the future,” said Braden, who loves football because he likes to hit.

His goals for the CFCFPC are to get his name out and show people what he can achieve in football.

During the off-season, Braden tries to work out and go to football camps to improve his football abilities.

“My football idol is defensive end JJ Watt,” commented Braden, “the reason I idolize him is because of his success on defence and his intensity on the field.”
