Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): Football has created great memories for Cote

Being part of a championship team has created lasting memories for Cade Cote who currently suits up with the Terry Fox Ravens in the highly competitive AAA varsity high school league in British Columbia.

Cote has been playing football for eight seasons now and has already started to make a name for himself. With three season MVP awards, the Top D-lineman award, and a provincial championship with the Ravens for 2016, the lineman is well on his way to having a great football career.

He says, “My idols are my coaches throughout the years that I have played because they have always been there for me when I needed it.” Cade loves football because of this great coaching and the great memories that it has allowed him to have.

That being said, he works hard to improve each day. With lifting weights five times per week and playing basketball to work on his conditioning and footwork, you won’t find Cote sitting around. He also has played four seasons of flag football, attends multiple camps and training sessions and has been a part of two teams outside of his high school league.

When it come to his goals for the FPC, Cote says, “To make the team and to see where I’m at when it comes to skills and abilities.”
