Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (West Coast): Farnworth collides on the line

Players have been using football for many things throughout time. Lineman Curtis Farnworth uses football to keep him disciplined and in good shape. He says he loves football because “its a rough agressive sport and I enjoy hitting people and colliding on the line.”

Currently playing for the SRT Titans, Farnworth has only been playing for three years. He is very versatile on the line and has played end and tackle, and has also played on special teams. The 6’0, 216-pounds lineman says that when he was playing defensive end, he was “great at it”.

Looking to the pro’s for inspiration, Curtis looks no further then DE, JJ Watt, for the NFL Houston Texans. “he is so explosive, aggresive and Unstopable at DE wich is the position I play, he also has dealt with some Extreme injurys in his career but he keeps going.”

“That keeps me postative when I have bad injurys,” he adds.

During the off-season, you will find Curtis doing exercise that increase his stamina and agility. He also does explosive exercises for his power such as tire flipping, squats, and pushing the sled.
