Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (Central): QB Lynds a lifelong Rider

Parker Lynds first hit the gridiron seven years ago with the National Capital Amateur Football Association’s (NCAFA) Myers Riders.

Currently, the quarterback plays for the Riders in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).

Moreover, aside form the Riders, he participates in training camps, as well as studies a lot of film and football research.

This year he is also participating in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, and his goals are to learn new offences and strategies, as well as new training methods to achieve good results.

During the offseason, Parker lifts weights and plays competitive basketball.

On the field, his idol is Tom Brady because no one thought he would be a good quarterback and he faced a lot of adversity to overcome that.

The Rider loves football because, β€œit is the best team sport to play, [there is] lots of contact and great teammates.”
