Fox 40 Prospect Challenge (Central): Grizzly WR looking for the perfect fit

Romell Samuel-Slocombe started his football career two years ago with the Huttonville Hawks.

He continued in his school football career when he moved onto high school, where Romell joined the David Suzuki Grizzlies junior team in the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA).

The wide receiver is also participating in the Fox 40 Prospect Challenge, and his goals are to get better with practice and use opportunities like this one to find a league that he fits with.

During the offseason, he tries to go to the gym and run laps to keep up with his endurance.

He also enjoys throwing the ball back and forth with friends and family who used to play.

“My favourite player is Julio Jones because he plays the same position as I do and [he] was the best in the NFL in that position,” commented Romell.

The Grizzly added that he loves playing football because it is fun and brings all his athletic attributes to the surface, making him a better player.
