Tyler Karpenko has been playing football since he was in Grade 8.
He has played with the North Bay Bulldogs in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL), as well as with his high school, the West Ferris Trojans with Nipissing District Athletics (NDA).
āI love playing the game and wish to get better,ā said Tyler.
His goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to improve his skills, learn new techniques and plays for his position.
During the offseason, the defensive back lifts weights and plays hockey.
On the field his role models are his coaches as he learns their skills, learns what they did to get better and how he can apply himself to improve.
The Trojan also hopes to make the #CFC100 list in his graduating year.
āI love to play football because I enjoy being part of a team,ā commented the defensive back. āI enjoy making new friends.ā
āI love the physical challenge,ā added Tyler.
