Jackson Churchill started playing football in August of 2015 with the London Minor Football Association (LMFA).
The following spring, the lineman and tight end played with the bantam London Jr. Mustangs in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL).
Currently Jackson plays in the Thames Valley Region Athletic Association (TVAA) with the Medway Cowboys.
“My goals for the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC) are to continue working on my game and improving my footwork,” said Jackson.
During the offseason he has a workout schedule that is focused on building strength and speed to help prepare him for football.
On the field, the Cowboy’s idol is Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots.
“I look up to Rob Gronkowski because I love the way he plays the tight end position,” commented Jackson.
Moreover, he loves to play football because it is a team sport and everyone has to do their job for the team to be successful.
“Football requires hard work and dedication from everyone on the team,” explained the Cowboy. “Because of this you become close and gain a lot of friends from the game.”
