Football was an easy choice for QB Zinger

Carter Zinger started football in the summer of 2010 when he was in grade 4. “My friends and I thought it would be so much fun to “hit” some other kids,” he said. Carter’s parents thought he was too young to play because the age difference was three years, however, with Carter continually hounding them, they finally conceded and let Carter join a team. “Well, to my surprise football practice wasn’t like I thought it would be,” he replied. “It was far more than just “hitting” some guys. It was hard work, it was intense, and it was hot!” Three of Carter’s friends quit, which left Carter and his friend the only grade 4’s left on the team. Carter fell in love with the game and never looked back.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
