OUA & RSEQ schools in the mix for Faucons standout

Jean-Philippe is currently playing with CEGEP Division1 team, Levis-Lauzon Faucons.
He was a two time Defensive MVP with his high school team, Riviere Du Loup Guerriers.
The linebacker has credited his success to his parents as they have provided support and attention.
“My parents help me a lot,” Jean-Philippe says. ”They are always there to support me in football, and they help me to push myself to my limits and reach my goals.”
Currently, Jean-Philippe trains at “Evolusport” where he is given personalized training sessions five days a week and has also been placed on a low carb diet in which he eats four to five small meals a day. Jean-Philippe believes that with his training and diet, he can reach his ideal weight of 225 pounds before the start of next season.
“I talked with a nutritionist who is helping me lose weight,” Jean-Philippe adds. “I want to be 225 to 230 pounds for next season.”
“I also train in the gym five to six times per week and have three running session per week”
On the recruitment trail, Jean-Philippe stated that schools such as Queens, Carelton and McGill have been in contact with him.
However, his ideal school would be Montreal because his friends and former teammates who play on the team. He also has heard nothing but good things about the school along with the quality of linebackers Montreal has developed over the years including Alex Cormer Emond and Byron Archambault.
