Defense scores all the points in 6 to 2 victory for Clarington over Hamilton Varsity

Whoever said that the defense has the advantage early in the season…was right when it came to the OMFL Varsity game between the visiting Clarington TiCats and the hometown Hamilton Steelers. Ivor Wynne has had many great defensive battles but maybe no game that saw neither team’s defense give up a single point and still have a 6 to 2 final score.

Hamilton opened the scoring on a safety by #42 Linebacker Aram Eisho, who also had an interception. The Clarington defense responded late in the game, 3:48 remaining, when #91 Jeremy Kuzma pounced on a fumble in the Hamilton End Zone.
