This season will mark the tenth year that Logan has played the sport.

The first team that Logan joined a decade ago was the Eastman Raiders of the Manitoba Major Football League (MMFL). Currently Beckman is a member of the Winnipeg High School Football League’s (WHSFL) Steinbach Sabres.

Next year, Logan would like to go to Red River Community College because there is a carpentry course that he would like to take.

A highlight from last season is when Logan got his first high school interception. Making it to the finals was also memorable even though his team didn’t win.

People that Logan looks up to in life and on the gridiron are his family and his best friend.

Aside from football, Logan has many hobbies.

“I’m into lots of outdoor hobbies such as ice fishing, hunting, and helping on the family farm,” says the Sabres standout.

Logan would like to be a carpenter. However, if the opportunity presents itself, he would like to pursue football as a career.

In order to prepare himself for the upcoming season, Logan visits the gym three to four times a week.  He also does footwork drills and technique drills as well.

Logan is keeping it simple when it comes to how he plans to improve upon his game.

“Work hard and have a positive attitude,” says Logan.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
