COACHES SPOTLIGHT (SIMPSON): “Bill loved each kid he coached as if they were his own sons”

Coaches play a big role in the development of their players, not just on the field, but off the field. There are thousands of community/high school coaches that sacrifice countless hours of their own time to make sure that amateur football is an opportunity presented to young people all across the country. Bill Simpson was beloved in the Chatham-Kent football community. But those around him didn’t love him as much as he loved the game. A coach in Chatham for over 30 years, he dedicated his life to serving his community on the sideline.
