Class 2017 prospect nabs third NCAA offer (VIDEO)

Joshua Palmer has caught the attention of another NCAA Division 1 school.

On Wednesday via social media outlets, news came out that the 6’2, 170 pound receiver from Brampton, Ontario received an offer from Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) team, University of Illinois Fighting Illini.

This is Palmer’s third offer. Back in May, he was offered by University of Michigan Wolverines and his first one came from University of Temple Owls.  Also, Iowa and Notre Dame have expressed interest in him.

In May, Palmer participated in the Ontario Prospect Challenge (OPC), guiding the Team Halton-Peel to a 15-14 victory over Team West in the Varsity Game.

Currently, the Ontario receiver is playing south of the border in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. The team has won two national championships.

Previous to the Raiders, Palmer has suited up for both the St. Roch Ravens of the Region of Peel Secondary School Athletic Association (ROPSSAA) and Burlington Stampeders of the Ontario Football Conference (OFC).

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
