Class 2012: Chris Mulumba, LB/DE, Kent Prep, Les Loups, Quebec (VIDEO)


Today CFC features class 2012 linebacker / defensive end Chris Mulumba. Chris has been playing football since 2008, starting with the Chomedey Blues in Laval, Quebec.

Class 2012

Chris’ first year playing football in 2008 with the Bantam Chomedey Blues he was the team MVP. In 2009 he went to play for Les Loups (Juvenile AAA) and was the defensive MVP of his team and the league. In both 2009 and 2010 he played for Team Quebec in the Football Canada Cup and was named to the tournament all star team both times. In 2010 Chris attended Kent prep school in New England.

His most memorable football experience was 2010 when Kent won the New England championship. “We were down 14 with 4 minutes left to the game. We scored with less than 1 minute to go in the game and tied the score. Then we won it in the second overtime.”

His most influential football person was Defensive Coordinator Nicholas Mesbach. “He encouraged me all the time and he believed in me even when i thought it was impossible. He helped me a lot and built my confidence.”
