Today CFC features Etobicoke, Ontario stud running back Wayne Moore. Wayne has only played football for 4 years but it has been a great four years, this year proving he is one of the best running backs in Canada in his class.

Etobicoke Eagles (OVFL)

Wayne started playing football in grade 9 at West Humber Collegiate. He played there from grade 9 to 11 then played his final high school season at Richview. He has also played his summer football for the Etobicoke Eagles. He started playing both linebacker and running back but the last couple seasons he has specialized at the running back position.

At West Humber he was awarded the school’s junior athlete of the year, and in grade 11 he was the Offensive, Defensive, and overall team MVP. He won the ‘Adam Elliot character award’ at the Super Elite football camp (Toronto) and was awarded the running back MVP at the University of Michigan football camp in 2010 (Ann Arbor, MI).

He grew up in the Duncanwood neighbourhood (Islington and Finch) in Etobicoke, watching others play football because he did not have the money to join a club. The watching helped him learn about the game. “I met Mr.Bobb from West Humber in grade 9 and he made me start working out, getting faster, stronger and bigger. Also, my coach Ray Skeete, he was my running back coach who help me on and off the field become a better runningback. Coach K from Richview really looks out for me and keeps me in line at school. Nick Burns helps me deal with football on and off the field, especially with my academics. Matt Black from the Argos motivates me and keeps me focused!” As you can see Wayne has surrounded himself with a great support group.

Wayne’s final comments to CFC. “I dont like Football, I LOVE IT! Maybe I can become someone people pay to see.” Our money is ready.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
