Class 2011: Troy McCusker, QB Huron Heights Warriors – York all-star (Video)


Today CFC features Class 2011 quarterback Troy McCusker. Troy is one of the top QBs in the 2011 QB class from Ontario and has the stats to back it up.

Troy was a 3 year starter with the Huron Heights Warriors in Newmarket (Ontario), winning a York region championships in the process. Troy has been timed at 4.82 seconds in the 40 yard dash which is impressive for his 6’3.5″ 215 lbs frame.

In 2010 Troy was voted York region all star QB, finishing his career with 25-3-1 record, all time leading passer and QB rusher at Huron Heights, as well as single season records for passing and QB rushing, and last but not least, zero interceptions in his final season with the warriors.

Troy’s most memorable football experience was attending the Manning Passing Academy in New Orleans. There he received personal instruction from Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Sam Bradford, Colt McCoy and Greg McElroy. He also said winning the York Region Championship in his first year as a senior was a hilite.

Troy credits the support he has received from his family, and coaches Al Rover, Heath Weir and Bob Rainford.
