With a strong nucleus of players the Hilltoppers won three city championships (’07, ’09, ’10) during Dan’s time. Dan played defensive end and special teams and capped his Hilltoppers career with a Midget league all-star in 2010.

Dan had a great high school career as well, playing for the Notre Dame Pride under the direction of head coach Dave Diluzio. With the Pride, Dan earned two Division 1 city championships (’09, ’10) and was named a Calgary high school football all-star in 2010.

His most memorable football experience was last season “when our high school team travelled to Pocatello, Idaho to play in a tournament at the beginning of the year. It was a great experience because it was the first time I played a football game under American rules and also the atmosphere of playing in the Idaho State University stadium was really great.”

Dan’s biggest influence in his football career has been “high school football coach Dave Diluzio because he is not only a great football coach but he really shows that the lessons you learn in football will help you to be successful person in life. My parents have been a great influence in my life because they have always supported me in whatever I have done and always been good role models for me to look up too.”
