CJFL Weekend Warriors: Theren Churchill

He enters his fourth season with the Edmonton Huskies

He’s never missed a game as a starter and is one of the most durable players the Edmonton Huskies have on the offensive line.

Theren Churchill enters his fourth year and third as a starter for the Huskies who are looking to turn their luck around here in 2016.  The right tackle was recruited in 2013 out of William E. Hay Composite high school.

The Stettlar Alberta native will be relied upon heavily this season as the Huskies try and build off the pieces they put in place a year ago.  If Churchill and the rest of the offensive line can hold, both quarterback Brad Launhardt and running back Jimmie Airey enter their fourth year and have an opportunity to break out in 2016.

Churchill is a big body for defensive lineman to push around.  He’s 6’5 and 265 pounds and has the ability to anchor the line.

Following his junior career he does have aspirations to continue to play at in the CIS ranks, while getting a University degree.
