CJFL SEASON PREVIEW: Langley Rams (VIDEO)

A new coach and a new era in Langley

The Langley Rams missed the BCFC Cullen Cup title game last year for the first time in five seasons.  This year Khari Joseph takes over as the new head coach, moving up from his defensive coordinator position.  Speaking of defence, the Rams will be solid as usual with some familiar faces like Brendan Desjardine, John Beckerleg and Marcus Brown.  However with the loss of Alex Agnoletto and Brock Gowanlock up front, other players will have to step up and fill the void and the Rams are very confident they have the right personnel.

Offensively the Rams have big bodies and veterans on the line who will have running back Nathan Lund running behind them.  Lund, now in his fourth year, will again be a threat each time he touches the ball.  The most interesting change could come at quarterback after the departure of Dylan Tucker.  Last year’s opening day starter Devoun Hallums is in the mix for the starting role again.

The Rams open the season on the road this Sunday at 4:00pm in Westshore against the Rebels.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
