CJFL: A new Thunderclap (AUDIO)

Sawyer Buettner is the favourite to win the #1 quarterback spot

There is a changing of the guard at the quarterback position in Regina for the Thunder.  Gone is All-Canadian Jaeden Marwick after leading the PFC with a 67% completion percentage and in is 19 year old Sawyer Buettner.

As a rookie last season Buettner completed 58.9% of his passes for 485 yards and threw a pair of majors.  This season he is poised to take the reins and will try to become the next great Thunder quarterback, following the likes of Marwick, Asher Hastings and Reid Quest.

With Thunder camp kicking off this weekend Buettner speaks with Ryan Watters about the upcoming season.

Advocating for football prospects one story at a time.
