CFL: Montreal Alouettes Shea Emry fined by league

TORONTO –The Canadian Football League announced today that it has fined Montreal Alouettes linebacker Shea Emry for his inappropriate actions in Saturday’s game against the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Emry was flagged on the play and ejected from the game.

The decision was made following a hearing with Commissioner Mark Cohon earlier today.
The CFL also announced that it has fined Alouettes defensive end John Bowman for his comments that appeared in a newspaper article on Monday October 22, 2012 that publicly criticized an opponent, which is in violation of their Collective Bargaining Agreement.
As per league policy, player fine amounts are not disclosed.
